Mini Defence Expo India-Malaysia Defence Industry Symposium
The programme was organised by the High Commission of India Kuala Lumpur and convened key stakeholders from government and industry.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) exchange between the Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM) and the Coalition of Defence Industry Malaysia (CDIM) was successfully held in conjunction with the Mini Defence Expo cum Defence Industry Symposium Malaysia–India at the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur. The programme was organised by the High Commission of India Kuala Lumpur and convened key stakeholders from government and industry.
The MoU signifies a strategic step toward strengthening bilateral defence industry engagement, aimed at facilitating structured collaboration, knowledge exchange, and potential joint initiatives between Malaysian and Indian defence manufacturers. In his welcoming remarks, High Commissioner B.N. Reddy acknowledged the milestone and commended both organisations for their commitment to advancing industry cooperation. He highlighted India’s expanding defence industrial ecosystem and reaffirmed the importance of sustained Malaysia–India defence collaboration in supporting regional stability and innovation.
